Who Will Change The World

change the world
In this world we live in most people want fast results, quick relief, a lot of rewards, little work, free or cheap things with big value.

Take this same mindset and apply it to spiritual communities - most want quick enlightenment but don't want to work for it, want quick healing fixes but don't want to go through the pain, want to become masters but want to bypass all the mindset work, want to become abundant but expect it to be handed on a silver platter.

Do you agree with me that this sort of mindset not only creates social problems but spiritual problems as well for humanity?

But there is hope, there is a minority of people inside or outside spiritual communities who see the value in - steady paced work with great results, working on mindset consistently over time to become more abundant, appreciate big value by being willing to pay for what it is worth, becoming masters through work, work and more work on their mindsets, understanding that healing is a process and sometimes going through the pain process is part of the healing. It is this minority of people who make a big difference in the world.

Why do I say this? If you study the stories of the most successful people whether it is in the business, financial, personal, or spiritual arena you will see that they all operate in the way I have stated in the above paragraph. As much as we would like to say that everyone is equal, these successful people really are a cut above the rest. It is not because they have been given more blessings than others by God, but it is simply because they have adopted the right mindset.

Starting A Discussion With A Stranger

strangerFor many people, starting a dialogue with a stranger can be quite a hard task that they dread. The awkwardness of a first conversation tend to make most people uneasy concerning being the first to start a conversation. However, once you know how to start a conversation with a stranger, you will realize that it is quite easy and it will undoubtedly boost your confidence.

Prior to starting a conversation with any stranger, you need to always analyze the scenario that you are in. As an example, you must first evaluate what the stranger is busy at. If he is active on his notebook, or he is reading a newspaper or perhaps a book, trying to start a conversation with him may not be very successful. If the situation looks convenient for a chat, then you can certainly start up a discussion.

The first thing to do any time starting a conversation with a stranger should be to greet the stranger with a smile. This may put the stranger comfortable making way for some other conversation. Sometimes, a grin is enough to make the stranger start a conversation along with you, so always smile. More often than not, when you welcome a stranger with a smile, he will respond positively. If you seem gloomy or like you are in a bad mood, the stranger will most likely just ignore you.

Uncovering Our Light

our lightA spiritual awakening is simply the awareness that we are more than just a physical body, with a thinking mind. We have a spiritual nature too, that many traditions speak of as a light. Yet lots of us no longer have access to that light. Addicts and Alcoholics have used drugs and alcohol until it‘s covered up. And for others, the stress and demands of a fast-paced, modern world drive us to escape through the compulsions of shopping, television, internet, sex and other things, rather than retreat to the light of this spiritual nature. In short, many of us find ourselves without the grounding foundation of that inner light.

The Shaman’s Journey is one method for reconnecting with this light. It has the potential to heal our spirit, freeing us from the fate of our past and allowing us to live out of our destiny. We first identify our wounds, the root of our emotional or physical problems. Next, we release old beliefs that no longer serve us. These beliefs likely originated as a strategy for dealing with or even surviving those wounds. But these beliefs are now hindering our ability to live fully and presently; or worse yet, have evolved into disruptive and destructive patterns. With these old beliefs behind us, we can now heal our spirit by establishing new beliefs, building new strategies for surviving, and even thriving, as we build and nurture the most important relationship, the one with ourselves. Finally, we begin to experience a holism where we live from an integrated perspective of our self, seeking meaning in life, with reverence and gratitude.
